Animal therapy

Project goal

The “Animal Therapy” project integrates animals into holistic healing methods to improve the psychological, emotional, and physical health of individuals. Especially in rural, abandoned areas, goats, dogs, or other suitable animals can assist in healing trauma and establishing a connection with nature.

Key structure of the project

Animal Selection:

  • Creating safe, humane conditions for the animals.
    Training animals for therapeutic activities.
Therapeutic Programs:

  • Guided interactions with animals, such as feeding, petting, or walking.
  • Practicing activities like milking goats or caring for animals to establish a meaningful connection.
Nature as Therapy:

  • Sessions in a natural setting to further reduce stress and promote relaxation.
  • Combination of animal therapy and light physical activities.
Participant Training:

  • Guidance for a respectful and responsible relationship with animals.
  • Workshops on the importance of the human-animal connection in the healing process.

A self-sustaining and expanding model

Overcoming Trauma:

  • Support for individuals psychologically affected by war or difficult life situations.
  • Encouraging trust, safety, and calm through interaction with animals.
Emotional Healing:

  • Improving emotional stability in children, youth, and adults.
  • Strengthening self-awareness and the ability to cope with emotions.
