Construction of Yurts and Tiny Houses for Sustainable Living Communities

OUR PROJECTS

Construction of Yurts and Tiny Houses for Sustainable Living Communities

Project goal

This project focuses on the construction of yurts and tiny houses as alternative forms of housing that promote a sustainable and minimalist lifestyle. These structures are particularly suitable for communities that seek a close connection with nature while also aiming to live self-sufficiently. Building yurts and tiny houses with natural materials offers an environmentally friendly solution for modern living.

Key structure of the project

Yurt and Tiny House Construction:

  • The construction of yurts and tiny houses as prototypes in different regions to test the feasibility and effectiveness of these housing forms.
  • Using local and sustainable materials for building the houses, such as wood, clay, and straw.
Workshops and Practices:

  • Organizing hands-on workshops where participants learn how to build a yurt or tiny house and which techniques and materials to use.
  • Training in self-sufficiency within these houses, including the integration of water supply systems, composting toilets, and solar systems.
Community Integration:

  • Promoting the integration of yurts and tiny houses into existing or new communities to support living in harmony with nature and increase residents’ resilience.
Long-Term Sustainability:

  • Ensuring that buildings are energy-efficient and can use sustainable energy sources such as solar power, rainwater harvesting, and biogas.

A self-sustaining and expanding model

Sustainable Housing Solutions:

  • Promoting yurts and tiny houses as alternatives to traditional housing forms that use fewer resources while providing a high quality of life.
Minimalism and Self-Sufficiency:

  • Supporting residents in leading a simpler life that aligns with nature and focuses on basic needs.
Promoting Community:

  • Building small, self-sustaining communities that manage and share their resources.
Training and Knowledge Transfer:

  • Passing on skills and knowledge about building yurts and tiny houses, as well as establishing sustainable living communities.

Long-term vision

  • The project aims to set a new standard for sustainable housing that will enable people to live in harmony with nature while being more independent and ecologically conscious. In the long term, the goal is for the construction of yurts and tiny houses to become the normative form of housing, particularly in rural or neglected areas.
