OUR PROJECTS

Street Dogs – Rescue and Care of Strays

Project goal

The “Street Dogs” project aims to help strays, particularly dogs and cats, by capturing, medically treating, vaccinating, and then placing them in a safe environment where they will find kind owners who will care for them. Through this project, not only will the well-being of animals be improved, but long-term efforts will also be made to address the issue of overpopulation of strays and promote animal protection at the local level.

Key structure of the project

Animal Rescue:

  • Teams of volunteers and veterinarians will be mobilized to rescue animals in distress.
  • This includes capturing strays, providing emergency medical treatment, and caring for them.
Medical Treatment and Care:

  • Each rescued animal will be thoroughly examined and treated.
  • This includes vaccinations, neutering, and treatment for injuries or illnesses.
Adoption Program:

  • Animal shelters will be established where animals can recover and be prepared for adoption in safe conditions.
Education and Community Engagement:

  • Events will be organized to inform people about animal protection and responsible care.
  • Collaboration with schools and communities to raise awareness about the importance of adopting animals and caring for them.

A self-sustaining and expanding model

Rescue and Care:

  • Rescuing strays from dangerous situations and providing a safe place for shelter.
  • Providing medical assistance, including vaccination, deworming, and neutering, to alleviate the suffering of animals and prevent the spread of diseases.
Promoting Adoption:

  • Ensuring appropriate and caring homes for rescued animals.
  • Educating the community about the importance of adopting animals and the necessity of helping animals rather than ignoring or abandoning them.
Education and Prevention:

  • Organizing campaigns to educate about responsible animal care, neutering, and proper treatment of animals.
  • Collaborating with local authorities and organizations to develop long-term solutions for reducing the number of strays, such as neutering programs.
Creating Safe Havens:

  • Building safe facilities for the temporary shelter of strays until a permanent solution is found.
  • Collaborating with veterinarians and other animal protection organizations to provide the necessary care and treatment.

Long-term vision

  • The project will contribute to the long-term reduction of the stray animal population and make animal protection a daily principle in the region.
  • Additionally, the local community will be encouraged to take responsibility and, in collaboration with animal protection organizations, develop sustainable solutions for the well-being of all animals.
